You can find lots (and I mean lots) of at 永久脫毛 which personally I wasn’t interested in. When it comes to lasers and intense skincare treatments I am one of those particular people who prefers to get a professional to work their magic on me, rather than trying to become one by getting a kit from my local pharmacy. I visited a clinic in my hometown that have recently opened for some treatments.
I visited about 2 sessions, but didn’t see any results – In Any Way. So, it had been fair to say I wasn’t going to waste anymore money. Strike one. FYI – I know individuals who have had treatments of IPL done (mainly all Asian/Indian skin types) and I happen to be told it requires lots of sessions to view results. I have been told by my current laser technician (and head trainer & educator of Polaris Hair Laser Removal) that IPL fails to focus on Indian skin and contains temporary benefits. It basically isn’t the best laser for long term hair-free fuss.
Next time round, I decided to go for any YAG laser but to my luck, my technician had blagged her way into making me think she was doing us a favour. If in reality, her so named YAG laser was much more of an IPL treatment then everything else. I will tell you that it made my hair just a little fainter, but nothing drastic – and I had a minimum of 6 sessions. Once again, I wasted not only my time in travel but a lot of money! Strike two.
Over the past 5 months roughly I actually have been seeing a lovely laser technician, who lucky to me, is located in the same county as me! I needed told her all of the problems I have had previously with laser hair removal and she gave me her honest and professional advice. She explained for me that IPL isn’t extremely effective (especially on Asian skin) for 永久脫毛. It really works whilst you will get it done but provide annually roughly and you will definitely visit your hair growth returning. The penetration of the laser isn’t as deep and doesn’t target the hair follicle towards the extent as being a YAG laser does.
I then explained the so-called YAG laser treatment I was getting before visiting her. That is certainly when she did a bit digging (in her extra time) and informed me that I had been missold my laser treatment. The laser which I had been getting done was more much like IPL compared to a proper YAG laser. It had been more of a diode – basically meaning that I wasn’t going to get exactly the same results has I would have using a proper or should I say real YAG laser!
She then explained about her laser. The laser she uses is the Long Pulsed Nd: YAG Laser by Polaris Medical. She is an expert educator/trainer with this laser and has been in the business for twenty years – she basically knows her shiz.
This laser can be used as hair removing of hair on all skin types, light to dark. One of the main advantages of this laser is that its melanin absorption is very low. Melanin is exactly what gives your skin it’s colour. The better melanin halbfl have, the darker your skin layer and the other way around. Due to it’s low absorption of this, there is certainly hardly any risk of the epidermis to get damaged by hyper/hypo pigmentation. This means that the long pulsed Nd:Yag lasers is idea for for hair removal on medium to dark skin!
I have to go with clean, lotion/potion free, makeup free, perfume/deoderant free and hair free. Yep, which means you have to shave before hand (everywhere you want to target!). This really is and so the laser can arrive at the folicle with no hair strands getting in the manner.
We have learnt the hard way by accidentally having some perfume on my own neck and also the laser burning my skin – luckily it wasn’t that bad (my Elizabeth Adren Eight Hour Cream sorted me out!). However, this is common and may happen.
During Laser Treatment
Through the laser session, the part/s of your body are sectioned off (as you can see in the picture above). The 永久脫毛 is utilized with an air-conditioning type cooling tube that is hovered within the area of the epidermis because it is getting lasered – this really is which means you don’t experience the heat. The sensation of having this done is like someone poking you with a needle. Based on your pain threshold or the region you possibly will not feel it in any way.
